RCI Transmission/Transfer Case Plate

Hey everyone,

RCI has an awesome deal going on right now where if you buy a transmission / transfer case skid plate you get attachable cat shields for free. I’ve been in the market for cat shields so I went ahead and ordered this two nights ago.

I was just re-reading the page though and it specifically states that it fits all 4x4 Tundras 07-21.

my truck is a 2WD, so I don’t have a transfer case. Does anyone know if this skid plate will still work? I’ve tried calling RCI but they are closed for the weekend.

 

I have all of their skids. I wouldn’t think Your lack of TC should affect fitment, as it bolts to the factory crossmembers, but you should confirm with them.

Well, their customer support hit me back this morning and said that it is designed for 4x4 trucks and will not fit a 2x4 truck out of the box.
