Hello, I think I may have found a solution to your TSS error for the pro grill swap.
I initially receive the error immediately after grill install.
So i pryed the sensor garnish cover off and drove around and the ligh turned off within 5 mins of driving.
So that gave me an idea since ppl here were saying the plastic was to thick for the sensor to read.
I dremeled out a section of the cover and then glued and jbweld the sensor cover back on.

Been driving around for 50 miles now and no light.
Pls give it a try and report back. You can buy just the sensor coveron Amazon for $25 or cheaper.

Before careful to not scratch the back of the sensor cover as you can see the scratches from the front.

The cover thickness that is discussed is related to the AJT that is used with the older Pro grille. For the newer style grill that you have, most of the non-OEM covers don't work. It's expensive at a cost of $300 for the OEM cover, but it works.

Right, so this might work for folks like me with pro style grill and non OEM sensor garnish.

Nice. I definitely will get another cheap garnish and try your method. Seems like it'll work well. I just installed my grille in today with a cheap garnish and its working normal for now. Drove for about 50 miles and took it through the car wash and no errors yet. I'm sure at some point it will throw errors and then Ill swap to the modified garnish.

Well it's been like 3 weeks and no issues so far. Everything is working fine.
