Hello everyone. Well... I had a 2022 1794 TRD and a friend had to have it so the dealer got me one rushed in (about 5-6 weeks) and I took delivery on Friday. Exact same truck except this one is the Hybrid all that I did was this time added a Westcott Level instead of the Rock Country level on my 2022. Running Toyo Open Country 295/60/R20 to the factory TRD wheels.
Question is the truck seems slightly taller than my 22? Can sorta measure when I pull into the garage. Might be my imagination but was wondering does the Hybrid model sit any taller?? Or does Westcott level a touch taller than other level kits? Thanks I'll post pictures this week its in now getting Expel paint film and ceramic coated. Should be ready to pickup Tuesday. Thanks

No idea as I dont run Westcott.....but my stock 2022 1794 with the adjustment done on the air bag arm ( not sure the technical term), my truck sits at 38", ground to wheel well measuring the middle of the centre cap, about 1.5" of rake but looks totally level when sitting. Rides like a car

Westcott is a 3/1 so it’s more of a level lift, the rough country level is only 2” or less in the front only. Westcott will be the tallest “level”

Do you have air ride in the rear? If so, then a Westcott front level may look high with no rear air arm adjustment (or Westcott rear air replacement arms). Westcott lifts on air ride equipped trucks are not 3/1…. They end up closer to 2/1.5 ish… give or take. You can check out their YouTube channel for plenty of info there. My guess is that (if it’s rear air) you need adjustments made to make the truck site level or with rake.

The TRD option eliminates the air bag so it's just the factory set up suspension.

Hum might of wished I knew that lol. I liked the stance of my 22 model. The front looks like I could have a much larger tire than the 22 model.

I have a 2023 1794 with TRD package. What does the Westcott level I read about all the time do other than lift (level). And with the larger tires on the factory TRD wheels, does it really affect mpg a lot? Mine rides like a car now........how about with the Westcott level. How much $$$$ are we talking with the Westcott level system? Just thinking about the upgrade.

Any Lift.....any bigger tire ....any heavier wheel will affect your MPG. nature of the beast. So its good MPG, or a bitching lifted truck with cool wheels.......but you wont ever get both. Last truck I did lift and wheels, this 3rd Gen is staying factory

Bigger tires is the answer I guess

Wescott level/lift is a spacer lift. Inexpensive kit like 300-400. Its a spacer lift they claim better then others around like rough country you can see their youtube videos where they explain why. I cant confirm or deny this just have to do your own research. It is just a spacer lift at the end of the day and your ride will be rougher with it installed. Bigger tires means more unsprung weight, this mass will effect MPG.

Personal experience…if you like your “car ride” then Westcott 3/1 level/lift is not for you.

it’s a pre-load collar system that is probably the most expensive out there at nearly $500 (compared to some others) but you will pay an additional $600 - $1000 to get it installed as you need to take the suspension apart and spring compressors are needed.

The ride is harsher…no doubt about it. I still have it but it was only a temporary fix until more suspensions came on the market.

When I got my 22 in Jan of 22 there weren’t much options available so I knowingly chose Wescott’s for the height/level given what I wanted at the time. It has served me well but it’s not the permanent stop for me and you don’t retain your “car ride” so if that’s important to you then it’s not the kit for you.

Just type Wescott Designs in YouTube and you will get a lot of videos of the kit.

Thanks for the responses. Knew it would affect mpg and glad to know ride quality is "bad" so to speak. Think I'll go with Hella Krusty.......factory for me. At my age I don't need a "bitchin" ride. Got more woman than I can handle now. :):)
