ok so i am looking for assistance. i have a 22 tundra with the air ride 1000lb bags on it. we are getting a travel trailer that is around 26ft. i say around cause we haven't nailed down which one yet. i plan to get a weight distribution hitch with the trailer. i was told that wouldn't need to upgrade my air bags to the 5000lb bags because i will be doing the weight distribution hitch. is this true?? and now i also have to sell some body mount tie downs lol

This is true. The WDH is doing all the heavy lifting so to speak. Air bags only function is to level the ride. They actually fight each other a little in this regard. I would get the hitch dialed in first before turning the truck on to activate the airbags.
