Bed Step Order

Armageddon finally sent my amp bed step. Ordered early July ‘22, received last week, March 4th.

 

Same here got mine last week not the easiest install tho. Ended up removing bumper cover off to reach for the bolts

 

Sparks says they have 5 in stock with new part number PT392-34231 (replacing

$154 PTS30-34000 Folding Truck Bedstep Compatible with Toyota Tundra(2022-2024), Retractable Rear Bumper Step, Easy-to-Install, Non-Slip, Corrosion-Resistant

PTS30-34000 ) For $270 still. If anyone still looking.

 

I hear ya there. I thought it would take half the time. I almost removed my covers too. Got it done though

 

Has anyone tried this on a PRO? Don’t see why it wouldn’t fit, I just want to be sure before paying shipping etc.

 

Someone on the Facebook group got a Amazon version for $200, going to pick one up to try out

 

I don’t have a PRO but got my local dealer to match online pricing $270 no shipping. Make sure when ordering use the new part #.

Keep trying. I ordered my bed step 5 months ago. The 1st order ... well... the data on my order simply vanished. The 2nd order arrived, but they said no body answered my cell phone. BUT THE THIRD ONE ARRIVED. (I took everybody's name who was involved and got print-outs of everything.) I just installed it a few minutes ago. PT392-34231.

 

I need to check on mine, been since before Christmas

 

Cancel it and reorder with new part #. I bet you will receive in 2 weeks or less.

 

I had the same result. Gave my dealer the updated part number and they said it should arrive in 2 days. Thanks!!

 

I believe there is an issue with the TRD dual exhaust port gets in the way.

 

Nope. I got the dual TRD exhaust with the latest version on Amp step and zero issue or not even close to be an issue. I’ll post picture this weekend as I’m at work for now

I called sparks and they said there would be no issues with fitment. Should have it on by this weekend!

 

Yep, will definitely fit the Pro. I got mine from Sparks and installed it last weekend. As others said, install can be a bit tricky but overall not too bad!

 

Well, thanks for the tip guys, the dealer actually “lost” the first order and it fell out of their system, now they said it will be ready to pick up on Tuesday. When they changed part numbers or must have reset and they didn’t follow up. Looking forward to getting it, getting in the bed is a pain and really makes me miss the simplicity of the GM bumper steps.

Got the step installed over the weekend! This is how these trucks should’ve come from the factory considering the bumper design.

Definitely recommend removing the bottom clip for the bumper bracket. Will make things much easier.

 

Sure wish these steps sat level. Extended is fine. Stowed, looks like a four year old mounted it.

 

I was worried it was touching the bumper when I first mounted it. But it’s just barely off.

 

Got mine installed. Pretty straightforward after I removed the bumper strap thing. Of course I broke the little plastic snap so I put it back together with a real bolt.

Great to have a step

 

Love the idea of this step, just wish it would have been included from the factory. Not designing a space that a person can step up on the bumper into the box was a bad call.

 

Yeah they should just increase the cost of the truck by whatever and make them standard.

 

What model tundra do you have? I have an SR5 TRD Offroad Crewmax and I added the TRD dual tips. I want to add the step but saw back somewhere some where hitting the tips. You said yours didn't got any pics/video in action?
