Anybody else notice that when it’s cold outside that the automatic headlights don’t work well, that the lane departure turns orange and the rear impact light also comes on and says off? This is happening in my 2020 CrewMax. Was thinking maybe the cold weather doesn’t play well with the TSS sensor. I don’t notice it when it’s warm out. Is this something I should be concerned with and take in to the dealership and have them look at it.

Any ice or snow buildup on the sensor emblem at all?

Maybe a very thin layer of ice?

What about over your windshield, specifically over the camera by the rear view mirror?

Yeah some very thin residual ice that hasn’t melted all the way when I defrost my windshield in the morning.

If your camera is covered then that’ll do it. Scrape that spot before you get going and it should be fine.

The best is when you’re cruising along in cruise control and the sensor decides its covered in ice/rain and then you immediately decelerate and your dashboard says it’s Christmas time. Manual cruise control can be turned on by long pressing the cruise control button then push down to set the speed. My 2017 was a better blizzard machine.
