What'd you replace with?

 

Factory for now, plan to retrofit the 2021 factory unit soon. This just has too many options for me, and I don’t use 1/3 of the functionality.

 

I bought one and tried it for a couple days. Sent it back for a refund lol

 

Some people seem to love them. I’m sure if I took the time to set all the applications up and everything it would be cool. Just don’t have the patience.

 

Does this replace the Fac a/c - heat controls?

Could this work on a 2020 with a different wiring harness or is that not possible to do?

 

I’m sure with the correct harness it would work, as the Entune 3.0 works in the older trucks with the conversion harness, but you’d have to get the opposite conversion harness built.

 

Do all the steering wheel controls and reverse camera work with this unit?

 

Yes they do

 

Huge plus for this unit as the cost of buying adapters/maestro/etc to integrate on other aftermarket HUs sure adds up

 

So why did you decide to ditch this and go for at 2023 head unit?

 

I found a 2021 unit for a decent price and I prefer the factory look and factory AC controls.
