I didn't get a great look but he was able to put this outside access box in between the windows on shell and that is box's reflection on glass of the window. Looks seamless tho I know its not...right?

Not when you see the price of replacement glass for those things, ha. He probably looked and was like, welp, eff it, might as well bionic man this thing.

Not sure if I'm impressed or concerned... I mean, on the one hand, nice job mounting something that has no business being mounted! On the other hand, what could you possibly keep in there that couldn't just fit in a toolbox, the bed, etc.

Curious if he went as far as cutting the glass to make a pass-through of sorts for the box, or if it's just mounted on top with next to no room inside the box...

Lol.. I thought the same thing. From what I could tell he definitely cut the glass otherwise very little room inside box however you might have a fold down small work table. If he cut the box itself, I'd be just as impressed. As for why he put it there (if it is full size), I can definitely see the reason. I've pretty much had it with climbing into the back and manipulating things around for my construction work. Being able to quickly access things on the side has some benefits. However, in Long Beach we also have homeless everywhere and many vehicles are used as homes on wheels so there are many weird adaptations on the road.
