This question has no ulterior motive whatsoever. I bought my 2019 Tundra with an 8year/125K extended warranty and have not needed to use it once. The reason for my question is I've owned Toyota brand vehicles most my long life and have never had an extended warranty. The wife wanted the Chevy Volt in 2015 and I gave in but got a 5year/88K extended warranty(thank God). The reason for my question is as truly unbelievably horrible that car was Chevy, I hate to say, was incredible every time I brought the POS in. Maybe through utter repetition and the 5 mile long service department lines at every Chevy dealer their used to it. I read some negative things about Toyota's treatment of extended warranties, nothing crazy, just some stories that make you wonder. How has Toyota treated you with your extended warranty claim?

And to the curious - 2015 Chevy Volt - Traded in at 77,500 miles.
Drivers side window regulator - 3 times
Passenger side window regulator - 1 time
Rear passenger side window regulator - 1 time
24volt reversing valve - 2 times , of course in Phoenix summer heat.
Center display screen replacement - 1 time, kept blanking out for months
Propulsion Power Reduced Warning - 2 times, once had to be towed
Passenger Seat Heater - 1 time
Reverse Camera went blank - 1 time
Reason for trade in - transmission, when going form park to either reverse or drive felt
like it was falling out of vehicle.

Not sure if this helps but for me I’ve purchased 4 Tundras and a Sienna from Toyota all with Toyota Platinum extended warranties and of the few times I have used it I went through my Toyota dealership. Example: I had a bad water pump on my 2008 Tundra. My mechanic noted that it was leaking and the service manager contacted the extended warranty department to receive approval to fix. My extended warranty covered the repairs and loaner. I paid $0.00 everything was covered by the Toyota Platinum Warranty I purchased.

New JBL head unit in my 2016 Tundra with mine, just a quick call to verify coverage and that was it.
