    Dang, I can tell you're a real Floridian, us 'pass-throughs' would also have listed never ending mossie bites, gators, rattlers and cottonmouths on the trails, plants that want to shred your skin, lung drowning humidity and a never ending stream of incomers and accompanying development...

    Oh, and while we're at it. My Floridian wife reckons there are two kinds of visitor to Florida, those who can afford a return ticket and those who can't. The ones who can't are prime material for the next Floridaman story...

    Yup. If it weren't for off-topic threads, I'd not have gotten to know so many cool people on here, now friends in real life. The off-topic threads are what made this forum a community, for those of us that participate.
