Led light strip

Hey everybody,
Has anyone seen or applied these led strip to their trucks?its just popped up on my Instagram. Looks so easy to apply. I wonder is there anyway we can wire it to somewhere that it will come on when we unlock the truck with keyfob?

You want it to turn on when you unlock the truck and stay on while driving?

 

Yes maybe just at night when the auto headlight comes on. Will it hurt to tap on headlight wiring?

 

Just use an add a fuse to the TAIL / LOW BEAM (or wherever you prefer) and should work fine. Just needs a power source and ground to work.

Lol. I love leds but in the form of BD and Rigids lol.

 

I could see it being unique if they turned on and did their motions when you unlocked it. Then turned off when it cycled through motions. Kinda like how dash gauges do it

 

Yeah those are a bit much imo.. but to each his own. I’m not even really a fan of the tail gate led strips either..
