I've been having trouble finding the stock steel rims that aren't attached to garbage tires. You may wonder why I even want them. The picture are my Toyota premium rims. More in an academic sense. They're round and were once chrome.

I've found some Rough Country steel rims that I question due to them being so cheap. I want to avoid aluminum all together. My roads will just destroy them. I have a current issues that I susoect might be rims that need turned. Anyone have experience with Rough Country? I've heard bad things about their other products.

I just had eye surgery yesterday. Focusing them is temporary at best. Coincidentally I was making a similar face when typing.

Oh damn! Hope them peepers heal up well!

As for steel wheels, you might try checking for local take offs. Most people move away from them and the take offs can frequently be picked up on the cheap.

My only issue with takeoffs is they come with tires I want nothing to do with. Even if they are cheap they'll handle like crap and my road is going to eat them. Then I have to pay to have them replace. That's if a grader doesn't service our road? Or we have heavy rain that damages the road and I get two or three more flats than normal. The nearest tire shop is 45 minutes away if I don't get stuck behind billybob or his sister wife on the way. That one horse town shop doesn't sell rims anyway. To avoid that head ache I'd have to pay to remove them. To give you an idea is where I live.

Ah, I hear you. Depending on what you want to spend, you could try getting OEM steelies from Toyota.

I think OE steelies have a bigger offset, or maybe they are more narrow? They appear visually sitting more inward.

That looks like a spare, not the regular steel wheels.

Oh, they are not full size? What the point?...

I may get the steelies myself then :) My stock aluminum are not fully destroyed yet, but eventually they'll be.

The spare wheel is not the same as steelies is all I'm saying.

This is what the stock ones look like.

I've seen a few of those remanufactured in Black. If this turns into too much of a headache I'll likely just buy a set of those. They go for about 130 bucks a wheel.

Have you considered sand blasting your wheels and spraying them in Raptor or Line-X? I may do just that. $130 * 4 = a lot of beer.

I have 20 inch rims right now so you're saving me anywhere from 50 to the 100 per tire. Those rims will pay for themselves inside of a couple of years easily. I see it as more of an investment. Thanks again.

After 8 years I'm pretty much used to it. Though I'm sure after a week of processing firewood for the winter I'll certainly appreciate it then. Again thank you for your time. Now to find tires LOL.

FWIW I am on my second set of 295/70/18 TOYO ATs. I will likely be buying them again in a larger size for the next set.

Oh yeah. And the dumbasses that block a 55 mph Zone to fucking gawk at them. LOL. Had somebody's kid run out in front of us and my wife screamed at them after almost killing the kid. The guy flipped her off. Unfortunately she wouldn't stop the car. Lol. Sorry for the rent I'm just not a big fan of the "elkers" as we call them.

As far as i know there are only two steel wheels available and they were posted in this thread already.

If rough country makes some that's news to me, or you're looking at wheels for a first gen tundra.

I bought some reman' stock wheels. They're not as sexy but it's a farm truck and part of living out here. But the view from our backdoor makes me give a lot less of a damn about 5he wheels. Picture for attention.
