My factory Michelins (275/65/18) that came on my 2017 TRD Off-Road are going to need to be replaced soon and i could use some help from you tire guru's.

My goal is to get something that looks a little beefier and taller with some aggressive looking sidewalls. Now, this truck is 90% of the time a grocery getter. I'll go down a couple fire roads when we go shooting but i'm not a "lets go try to get my truck stuck" kinda guy. I do tow a trailer around when we go camping. The truck has been leveled with Bilstein 6112 in the front at 1.9" lift (retained factory UCA's).

Currently, i'm still on the TRD Off-Road wheels, but i've really been eyeballing the SCS Ray10's in Matte Jet Black (this would be my first ever aftermarket wheels in my 20 years of driving). I'd be fine keeping the existing wheels, or go with the Ray10's if it opens up some possibilities of more standard tire sizes.

I've had some color matched bushwhacker pocket flares sitting in a box for a while, waiting to be installed with some wheels that would not be sucked in. Would those specs work?

    Sizes:
I've most likely narrowed it down to 2 sizes:
    285/70/18

    275/70/18

Are there any other sizes i should look at? I dont mind loosing that front mud flap thing and trimming a little bit but nothing too crazy. If i got the Ray10's would that open up any different tire size?

    Tires:
Mostly looking for something that looks nice that hopefully isn't obnoxiously loud on the highway or brings my gas mileage to single digits (i average around 14mpg currently)

My original plan was to get the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I really like how the tread pattern looks, but not the hugest fan of the sidewalls. They seem like they wouldn't be crazy loud on the road, but still has some aggressiveness.
    Price (mostly from Amazon):
    285's - $385
    275's - $295

If i wanted to go extra beefy i like the Toyo Open Country M/T's. They seem like higher end ones that look really good, but might be a little overkill for me....but damn, they do look good. Not sure how loud they would be.
    Price:
    285's - $479
    275's - $363

A step down in beefyness is the Open Country R/T's. Seem like a middle ground between the M/T's above and the Falkens below.
    Price:
    285's - $479
    275's - $390

    Price:
    285's - $402
    275's - $390

Then there's the Falken Wildpeaks. Kinda the safe choice i guess. Probably quiet on the road, a little bit of sidewall action, but not really aggressive tread.

    Price:
    285's - $386
    275's - $320

Any others i should look at? seems like 285 carry about a $100 increase over the 275s. As the prices sit right now, Nitto's in 275 seem like the best bang for the buck.
