Hey everyone been lurking for a while but finally in the market for a tundra. Started out toyota for my first truck in high school and I loved it. 91 black single cab stick with a lift and some 31's!! I went all over in that truck and probably had the most fun in my life with it. Never let me down and went through some nasty stuff. Fast forward and now i am about to get rid of my chevy gasser that i have had for 10 years. Have a couple toyota's in the family right now and the reliability has me looking hard at tundra's. I think for my budget a second gen platinum is my best bet. I like the higher trim levels mainly for the sunroof lol and dvd player for the kids. Now im going down a rabbit hole trying to find the best suspension and even wanting a super charger :) Probably just stick to suspension at first. There is so much to understand about leveling, sway, bars, shackles, shocks etc.

If anyone has any pointers on where to look or what to look for i am all ears. I like leveled trucks but i also like to keep them as close to oem as possible for when things break. So no crazy lifts or huge tires (maybe like 2" leveled). I spend a lot of time in the mountains and off road but mainly for hunting, camping, fishing around Idaho. I also pull a 19ft camper around probably 5-10 times a year and was wondering how the tundra's pull. I do beat on my trucks in the mtns but i always keep them fixed up and looking clean.
