I hate Red!

Seems like the first thing I notice about the truck is the red on the TRD decals. I don't know why, but I strongly dislike the color red.

Have any of you changed out the TRD Off-Road decals to a different color combination?

What colors would look good on the Cement?

(yea I could take them off completely - but I want everyone to know I have a TRD skid plate!)

 

Any vinyl graphics company can make whatever you want.

 

I actually don’t mind it on mine. I think it pops nice on the silver, but that’s just me.

 

Yep, I'm sure they can - but was hoping maybe someone had changed theirs or maybe a few would chime in with colors they thought would look good on the Cement.

 

I thought I’ve seen people with all black on the forums. That would look good on the cement.

I completely debadged but hot pink goes well with Cement.

That much red looks good. I couldn't do it, but it does look sharp!

Grey is a neutral color so any color can work for a decal. I've seen some bright green+grey or blue+grey. Just not my speed.

 

A darker gray like charcoal maybe, with black would look good on the cement.
(but I love red accents)

 

Im thinking black, non-gloss. Maybe some dark gry/silver for the accent areas.

 

The Cement is a pearl with blue and white flakes, I think another color mixed in too. I would accent those colors.

Yes you can go with shades with grey it doesn't need to be a color. You can probably look at a color wheel site and play around with colors.

 

I think Matte black would look good on Cement. Or even a solid blue.

 

You are very particular, OP. Welcome to the club. There was a fella doing a TON of these, completely custom, from Hawaii. He was super busy on the tacomaworld forum. Has 808 in his username. Try to find him in there, but I’ll look here and if I find him, I’ll tag him for you

 

I did this on my old truck. In the past on my gm trucks I always debadged, with tundras I think they look too blah.

 

So, you don't like our flag or my Radiant Red Tundra? Blasphemy!
