Adding LEDs to BSM

I added bright LEDs to my BSM as follows:

LED:

https://www.oznium.com/marine-led-lighting/marine-boat-led-deck-running-light in 5050 size. They have a built-in resistor for 12vdc operation.

Connectors:

https://www.posi-products.com/shoponline.cfm#8 in 24-26 gauge

Wiring:

I used wire colors rather than connector pin numbers. I identified the correct wire colors with a multimeter. See photos.

Results:

Now I can see the BSM indications with my peripheral vision.
