Just bought my first sequoia today and didn’t notice it in daytime but both headlights as well as the dash lights aren’t coming on. Could be separate issues, but figured there was one common problem causing them both. A user manual wasn’t in vehicle when I bought it, but no obvious signs of anything being blown. Just thought I’d see if people with similar vehicles have had this issue.

Just the Head Lights and dash, no other inside cab functions, climate control, radio, etc ?

Maybe bonehead question but the dimmer switch not all the way off for dash light problem ?
Might have to check further into dimmer relay circuit.

It goes without saying also, if this vehicle is new to you, pull each dash fuse individually, put a light source behind it, and confirm its intact. This is just good practice.

Don't forget there's a fuse/relay box inside the engine bay also.

Do the parking lights work, or fog lights if so equipped?

Finally, it's really not hard to pop off the connector on the back of the light housing to test if its getting voltage. It's not impossible this truck has both bulbs blown.
