So I bought a FlowMaster (insert bashing here) for my ‘17 CM and installed it. Was an easy to install and well made kit. It sounded great but had a horrible drone between 1550 and 1900rpm. So much so that my wife wasn’t pleased. I figure happy wife, happy life so I emailed Keith on a Saturday morning and asked if he could make some resonators for my truck and by noon, he replied that he was out of town and asked me to call him Tuesday. We talked a bit and decided he would build 2 Helmholtz resonators and said they would ship by that Friday. That in itself was more than I could ask for as I am taking a drive to WV at the end of the month and was hoping to have them in before the trip.
Got them installed and absolutely zero drone! I mean it is GONE! It quieted it down a little which was ok by me but step on it and it still sounds like true duals.
Even though I should have bought my exhaust from DD, Keith was eager to answer my questions, fast to make and ship the product and was reasonable with his pricing.
Keith and the staff at Dirty Deeds are the real deal. I can say that when this exhaust bites the dust or when I add the SC, I will be purchasing a complete system from him.
Moral of the story….. buy from Dirty Deeds the first time!

Nice! I’ll most likely be calling Keith at Dirty Deeds when I upgrade. What flowmaster muffler series did you have installed?

I bought the FlowFX series. It was really easy to install in the driveway with standard tools and took about an hour using 14 and 15mm sockets and an impact driver. If you do this, do yourself a favor and get an exhaust hanger tool and a creeper.
