My new Tundra has. 120v/400w power outlet. Does this mean the outlet will only supply 3.3A load at 120v?

    Welcome!

If thats what its rated for then you are right
    Watts/Volts=Amps

Crazy how fords have 7kw plug in the back of their truck....just nuts. I think toyota went more for charging a power tool battery or plugging in a tv, since the hybrid battery is small and meant for take off power.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Yes, I think it is meant to charge power tool batteries rather than to run corded tools. I would be disappointed if I had that as well.
