Got the truck Saturday 240 miles on it when I was getting in today had a knife with a metal clip on pants side pocket. I cried alittle. Any ideas on how to fix thinking maybe whole bottom seat cover if I can get one.

Nice looking seats. The easy way is to just sow it together with thread, but will pinch it a bit. Leaving it alone likely would lead to it opening up wider over time. The more expensive ways are to come up from underneath with a patch that a local upholstery repair place would do.

That is not good. I feel your pain man. I did this once and spoke with local dealer used car manager. He connected me with portable detail company he used to fix paint scratches and seat damage on their used cars. I don’t know how but they fixed a tear just like yours for $75. I don’t know if they can fix a perforated cover but worth a call. I have also changed bottom cover on other Toyotas and its not too difficult if you have some mechanical ability. It took a couple hours. Good luck.

I’ve seen perforated leather repair and it’s never perfect, I work with certifying used vehicle for car sales and I’ve seen many seat repaired by our vendors, personally that would bother me on a new vehicle. I’d spend the extra and have the seat cushion cover replace. The cover itself ain’t so pricy. I believe this is the right one.

Lol I like the black seats, if I can get the cover that cheap and do it myself I’ll go that route!
