    Hey folks.
Just traded in my 2010 Double cab Tundra for a 2023 SR5 Double cab.
I was disappointed in the much smaller rear seat area since I use it for some of my tools. Also the wider seat does not stay up by itself so it has to go.
    I have two questions.
    1. Is there a resource online where I can find a real service manual for my truck?
    2. If not, does anyone know where I could find details on how to remove that LH rear seat?
I might actually want to take both rear seats out along with the plastic storage bins that are also in my way. I'm a contractor with tool boxes on both sides of the bed, but need the extra room in the back seat area for additional tools. I don't need the seats, and they're taking up a lot of space so it would be much easier to just yank them out.

You might try again. Maybe "slam" the seat up against the back when you swing it up, because it locks in the up position. At least mine does.

I have not seen a full version of the service manual posted anywhere, but the TIS is pretty easy to access for a nominal fee. You can subscribe for a short time, download whatever you need and then stop paying for it. Anything you download outputs in PDF, as I recall.

$20 for a 2 day subscription. Download anything & everything you need.

Yes, the seatbacks definitely lock in the up position. Push harder as Kropp says, and maybe have a look at the pull tab near the headrest to see if the latch did not stick open or get stuck for some reason.
