Hi, new to the forum and I have already learned a lot about what I should and should not do and what to look for as my truck ages. I purchased the truck new in 2002 and currently it has about 78,000 miles (its only lived in FL so no frame rust). Last year I decided to restore it back to its original condition. Had it repainted, new carpet, new leather skin seats, powder coat all wheels and bought new center caps, new rubber door seals (damn that was expensive) and had to have the windshield taken out and resealed due to water leaks. Now it runs and looks new and hope to have her for another 20 years. IMG_0648.jpg IMG_0647.jpg

    Wow, only 78K, that's definitely a keeper!

Love the first gens, I recently sold my '00 with 205K and I kinda' miss her.

There was nothing wrong with it and it never left me stranded, I just got shiny new truck syndrome and wanted something with less miles, bigger brakes, and more HP/TQ for towing.

You definitely should, she's a beauty!

Yeah, that canyon is cool. You can go for miles up in there.

The day that pic was taken was really windy, but you get up in the canyon and it got very still and quiet.
