Hey, Anyone out there having oil consumption problems in the 3rd Gen Tundra? Or are things looking pretty tight? Just wondering and trying to learn as much as I can while waiting for my Truck.

I've had my rig since 12/15/21 and I've got ~21k miles on it. Oil level has been steady between intervals. I haven't noticed any consumption. I always make sure to check it before a road trip, of which I've taken several trips over 1000 miles (roundtrip) over the past 14 months.

Others may have different experiences, but this has been mine.

1300 miles so far and the oil not only is full, but looks clean like day 1. Not a lot of miles to make much claim though.

I'm at 2400 or so miles. Changed oil at approximately 500 miles-clean and no consumption. Current oil - no consumption and looks clean from what I see on the dipstick. On another note, took the Tundra on a 150 Mile round trip all interstate. Temps high 40's no wind, gentle rolling terrain in the Susquehanna Valley running 70-80MPH and the gauge just at 20MPG. When I check MPG on fuel usage/miles always has it a .75 MPG better.

And what will this cost pray tell?
So why so short of life span anyways? I thought we were up to near 100k miles on all vehicles these days.
