Just found this, and it's hilarious! If anyone chooses to be offended, that is their right, but that doesn't diminish your right to share a laugh! Dark humor is a thing for a reason, and laughter is good for us.

A dear friend of mine just got his diagnosis of a few months ago after some troubling symptoms. Though his type of cancer is generally very treatable he also has the most aggressive form of it. When he told me, I was obviously empathetic and recognized the suck of the situation, but I also had one very important question.

Him: So, you know I've been having some troubles. Doc called and told me it's cancer and gave me a rundown on the plan.
Me: Man, that sucks. I mean, we've talked, and with your symptoms it's not exactly a huge surprise. Still sucks.
Him: Yeah, not a surprise, but not the best news.
Me: For sure...... I have a question.
    Him: What's that?
Me: Are you still gonna laugh at cancer jokes with me?
Him: Oh, DUDE! It's gonna be so epic! You can crack them, or get somebody else to, and when the laughs quiet down I can be like "yeah, real funny to the guy that has cancer!" Then we can both laugh at their panic!

    Both: HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
