Well I guess I’m crazy lol. Just traded my 23 platinum hybrid in windchill pearl for a 23 1794 hybrid in army green with the TRD or package and a 6.5’ bed.

The dealer gave me MSRP for my platinum and sold me the 1794 at MSRP as well.

Anyone have a tonneau cover for a 6.5’ bed they are looking to part with in the MA area?

Sounds like a fair deal. I like the green.

There wasn’t much if any loss in this market. My payment is lower and this truck was 3k more.

The green is awesome. In the 6 weeks I had the white one I hated how dirty it looked.

The black trim and green paint look awesome but I’ll have to do something about that chrome or silver whatever it is Not sure what they were thinking when they whipped that up on the rendering during design

From one beauty to another!!! Is the ride any different? Did you have a regular platinum or the one with the selectable shocks? I’m considering finding some stock off road shocks for my platinum unless someone tells me there is no noticeable difference. Ps your Army green TRD 1794 is a unicorn. Enjoy!!!

The 1794 has the chrome in place of the black chrome on the platinum. It doesn’t bother me. Every 1794 has it.

It seems a bit faster lol. My platinum was just a base suspension. This one has the bilstein(?) shocks which I assume are a bit stiffer but no noticeable difference. Obviously the long bed feels a bit different but nothing major.

The platinum was a hybrid too. Just wanted to switch to something different and the long bed wasn’t a bad feature to add.

    Nice!! I did a similar'ish swap. 1794 TRD OR 5.5 for a 1794 hybrid 6.5. Both were WCP.

    Youll enjoy the long bed.

    Are the features different?

Platinum and 1794 are basically identical trims feature wise. The platinum is dark chrome accented with black leather whereas the 1794 is chrome accented with brown (or white?) leather. The 1794 can be optioned with a TRD off-road package and the platinum cannot. That’s about it.

Pretty much spot on. I am noticing the doors don’t rattle when the bass hits like it did in the platinum. I’m also noticing a bit stiffer of a ride but I’m guessing that’s the TDR OR package. Either way, the thing is beautiful
