Thanks! I'm not sure it's 100% my style either. I didn't expect it to be quite so "flashy". Still blends better than the grey IMO though.

Simple green makes the engine bling. Spray and let it sit and rinse off

 

What are you guys covering when you clean your engine bays? Seems to easy to just spray, sit, rinse...like I should be doing it a lot more often.....

havent done much in quite the while. however, did take a moment to “wash” off several layers of dirty off between days of recent cold and rainy weather.

 

For less than $10 it might look pretty good.

I'm wondering this too, I'd like to get it super clean so that I can point out the leaks to the dealership once I get back from my towing trip, since "seals and gaskets" are on the covered list for my extended warranty. Pretty sure it is spark plug tube and cam tower, but want it at the point where i'm all the way sure.

 

DD ditch light on rago fab mounts. Auxbeam controller. Ended up sticking the controller on Velcro on top of the fuse box instead. Much easiest to get to the fuses than with the mount right above it lol.

 

I don't really cover anything. I just make an effort to avoid spraying the wires as much as possible.

Swapped out non heated, dirty, smelly cloth seats with cigarette burns with some nice 5-year-older heated leather seats from a limited

 

Make sure you pressure wash extra long around all the coil packs and intake.

 

Be sure the throttle body is fully open and spray inside there just to be sure it’s clean

 

That is why I got a super white Tundra. Having only owned black cars before I purchased it, I know the pain. They look so good when clean... But 15 minutes later...

 

Never can be too safe. Probably dusty in there from Baja.

 

The regular green Simple Green shouldn't sit too long on aluminum as it "can accelerate the corrosion process" according to the SG folks. The purple stuff (Simple Green Pro HD Heavy-Duty Cleaner) is safe for aluminum. It's a concentrate and you can get it at Home Depot.
But folks seem to be using the green stuff without issue, so it's probably no big deal.

 

Heated leather seats are one of my favourite things about my truck. It lives on setting two this time of year.

 

New front Toyota rotors & duralast elite copper free ceramic pads. My co-worker taught me at work, it’s not that difficult. Truck has 68,000 miles on it and I probably could have gone another 10,000 miles but I’m planning on leaving this sweat shop soon so I’m getting everything done I can maintenance wise while I have teachers and a lift available to me. I’m ordering the rear brakes tonight.

 

Guess I will make sure to get the switchpro and power tray really good while I am at it...
