Hey guys. Desperately need help with a lighting issue. Recently purchased aftermarket headlight and tail lights for my 2013 Tundra. Front went easy. Also added resistors to swap out front turn signals to led. Problems with tail lights. The new units have led brake lights and standard for turn and reverse. The led simply plugs into socket after removing old bulb. The led brake light stays on constantly and will not get stronger pressing brake pedal. So, I added resistors to both led leads. I can get the passenger rear to stay off unless headlights are turned on but if headlights are off, will not light up with brake pedal. Drivers rear will stay on constantly even with headlights off. Everything turns off with key off. I’ve checked all for decayed wiring and corroded sockets. Also pulled brake switch and checked out good for continuity today. Took new lights out and put factory back and passenger rear works fine but drivers rear remains on even if headlights are off. I’ve spent hours and it’s gotten the best of me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
