    I am looking at Aruba after a few of you guys have recommended it.
    St. Lucia I believe has private security (which is what you are referring to). We have been twice now and always felt safe. Tourism is their #1 import, and if the country is labeled unsafe, it is a big hit for them. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Awesome! We did a bunch of research based off the comments in this thread and have decided on COCOS All Inclusive Hotel Antigua. Though we have a little more than a year before we go, we will be sure to post some photos and a review of how it goes afterwards. Looking forward to it! Thank you all for your input!

    Just to bring it full circle, ended up going to Antigua. We stayed at Cocos Hotel in a sunset pool cottage and had a wonderful time. Amazing!
