Diode Dynamics is excited to introduce our SS6 LED Fog Light Kit for the 2022+ Toyota Tundra!

    Overview Video (Coming soon): https://www.youtube.com/diodedynamics

Perfect Fitment. The SAE LED Fog Light Kit for the 2022+ Toyota Tundra from Diode Dynamics allows you to mount a pair of SS6 Stage Series 6" Light Bars in place of the factory fog light housings. These application-specific brackets were CAD-designed to install using factory mounting points. No cutting or drilling is required!

Focused: Most LED light bars on the market, even certain premium options, use outdated technology like reflectors or simple lenses that lose light internally and to glare.

By comparison, our custom-engineered total internal reflection (TIR) optic in the SS6 collects all of the light from the LED chips, drastically reducing wasted light and improving total efficiency.

SAE Fog/Wide pattern provides an extremely wide field of view, without wasting any light in the sky above and provides a 100Wx8H degree spread of light. It was designed to supplement your fog lights and is perfect for driving in inclement weather.

White or Amber. The Stage Series light bars included with this kit are available in a cool white or amber color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true white output, without any blue. The amber is a brilliant deep yellow color, perfect for hazards or high contrast in poor weather.

Interchangeable Outer Lens: If you’re looking to change the output color or beam pattern. Our interchangeable outer lenses are simple to swap and are made of high-quality polycarbonate.

    In the Box:
    • Four (4) Application-specific brackets for installation on 2022+ Toyota Tundra
    • Two (2) SS6 Stage Series 6 inch Light Bars
    • Two (2) H11 DT Adapters
    • Installation Guide

Proven Reliability: Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.

Do these fog lights need to be mounted in a certain orientation for the fog cut off beam to be correct? Is there a certain side that should be on top?

I installed mine but they seem to still have a lot light shining up and I’ve been adjusting them down

Just installed mine. I need to adjust down, but happy with them for sure. Great beam pattern and incredible cut off. IMG_1985.jpg IMG_1988.jpg IMG_1989.jpg IMG_1993.jpg IMG_1992.jpg IMG_1991.jpg

I have a question. I just purchased this kit, when I am installing it with grill off, the wiring only goes in one way? You can't reverse polarity and then it won't work? I am just trying not to put the bumper back on and realize its not working.

Yes, they can go either way, but only work one way. Check before you put everything back together.

Fog lights look to be aimed way too high?

Right. That’s why I said they need to be adjusted down…

I just watched their install video and the aiming looked pretty straightforward if you do it on initial installation... but you'll have to pretty much take it all apart again to do that now. Oof. I think I'll keep mine stock.

I didn't take the grill off, just the front piece there where the lights are. It's easy.

You may have to push the fogs back a bit further. I had to with mine.

How does one decide white or amber? I am mostly on paved roads, not a serious off roader. But pulling into campgrounds at night, boat ramps, more light sure be nice.

You should make a video of how to get that piece off in situ. Looking at the official DD video with the grill off the truck there are some side pieces removed that might interfere if left in place? But I can't tell just from just looking at it.

Topically Amber is better for off road and/or inclement weather. Amber is better at cutting through stuff in the air, and less light gets reflected back into your eyes.

White is brighter, and better for everyday driving.

What is interesting is that DD lists the white as having significantly brighter output than the amber and their photos show that the amber seems to have more vertical scatter than the white. It seems like the LED emitters may be the same, but the darker amber lens attenuates some brightness and creates some scatter.

The leds are the same...they even sell new covers if you want to change them. I have amber and ordered clear fog lenses just in case I don't like them.

I have Amber and really like them. I often drive with them on at night, and wonder if I shouldn't. Does anyone else drive with these on most of the time? I don't get anyone flashing brights at me so I assume it isn't a problem, but wonder what others thought.

If they are aimed properly as fog lights, they won't cause any issue for oncoming drivers at all. Whether they help you or not in clear conditions is up to you to decide.

My previous F150 I had the Yellow SS3 Sports, how do these compare. I'd like the yellow but with a little more output then the SS3 sports.

I went with white as I want to install amber higher up the grill and behind the honeycombs of a stock TRD grill (non pro). I only took off the front valance not the entire grill. There is a DD video out there showing the technique. Basically you pull the middle of the valance out and it makes getting the ends out easier. I did the fog lights first and the Toyota OEM tow hook upgrade second. In hindsight I should have done them both together and just pulled the entire front off.

    Just getting started...
Did you have any luck doing the install this way? I have tried to get that piece off this way twice and cannot get the top to loosen. I even tried pulling off the bottom valence piece and side caps to get better access and no luck. I cannot get the top portion of that fog light cover piece to budge even the slightest, and I'm nervous to break it or the piece behind it. I wanted to avoid pulling off the whole front end, but may have to go that route since I cannot get to the upper clips with the grill assembly in place.

Could you expound on some of the other mods you have going on the front of your truck? Looks like hitch points, a color matched TRD skin, and there's a flag in there. Like an Easter egg hunt, lol
