How's it going everyone, been lurking for a bit now so I figured I'd join the forum. Bought a used 2014 Tundra SR5 just before Christmas. This is my 3rd Toyota currently, wife has a 2019 RAV4 Limited, and I'm also a ClubLexus forum member for my 2010 IS350. Was super happy when I found the Tundra I bought, had been searching for the right truck for a while. I wanted to stick with Toyota because I love the Tundras.. and you can't go wrong with Toyota reliability.. My truck is a 2014 SR5 (Silver) w 125,000km on it. Tons of life left in this truck and I'll make sure it stays in the great shape that it's in. I've definitely got some plans for the truck along with what I've already done. Found a great deal on some BRAND NEW KO2 tires on Kijiji, also found some mint shape 18" steel wheels that I had powder coated satin black. I have a vinyl wrap connection from my Lexus, had him remove the chrome badging on the truck and clear ppf the headlights for me. Also installed some yellow tint on the foglights (JDM ftw!). I'm going to have him wrap the grey grill insert satin black as well. Luckily, he had a vinyl tonneau cover for me.. threw that on the truck to keep the bed covered over the winter. I swapped the stock antenna for a shorter one from Amazon.. I plan on getting the bed LineX'd when the weather gets a bit nicer up here in Canada. I've got some running boards on order already (wife insisted haha) Might look for some 35 offset 20" wheels later this year.. would like a nice flush look without anything too crazy.. let me know what you think!!tundra.jpg rimstires.jpg rims.jpg tundra2.jpg

I’m looking for the same tires and wheels. I don’t like a big offset. Looks like you’re in E. Canada.

Looking for the 18" powder coated ones on the truck? Or 20" rims with a 35 offset? The stock 20's are nice rims but I don't want to run spacers and would love a more flush look as mentioned.. When buying the truck I pointed out the tires were garbage.. and sure enough they failed the safety.. so luckily I got some brand new 20" rubber put on the stock rims.. Laufen X fit AT's.. they're decent tires for sure and being brand new I would love to get a rim that works with them..

Canada yes.. I'm in Ontario.. London area to be specific.. been a mild winter for us so far but its looking colder towards the end of January..

I’m looking for a slight offset but without going outside the fenders.

Yeah after doing some reading on the forum it looks like a 35 offset is the way to go for a flush look. 35 offset rims seem to be a rare find though every website I’ve checked only has a few options.. I always go for a “premium OEM” look with my vehicles.. flush wheels will complete it nicely..

Not right now and my foot is filled with pain from an unknown cause or I would get you some almost instantly. If you want to message me anytime say after a week from now feel free to look back to this thread and find me. Then I will have your message and send some. I personally think the flares give the wheel wells a "finished" look. If you stare at one and think for a minute or two you will get a better understanding of how they appear "unfinished". Maybe like casing molding around a door. Or look at a house window on a brick house that isn't trimmed out, then look at one that is. Night and day in my opinion. Good luck with your truck, stay active here, lots of good info and great peeps.

No worries! Rest up!! I’m not a huge fan of fender flares personally. With the right setup I agree with ya they do give it more of a finished look.. fender flares with the right offset wheels and tires make for some wicked looking trucks that’s for sure

Wrapped the roof satin black yesterday.. led lights installed interior, exterior. Philips xtreme vision halogens installed. Running boards should be here next week. Black Trd pro grille will be next. LED headlight housings will be not long after.. open to suggestions if anyone has any..

Coolant, tranny fluid, front and rear diff and transfer case oil replaced this morning at my local Toyota dealership. They’re overnighting the TRD pro grill in for me. Pickup tomorrow morning and I’ll install it when I get home. Running boards are here, no plugs or bolts in the frame holes so I got a M8x1.25 tap to clean them out before install. Truck will be complete until I save up for some OEM LED headlamps. The Philips bulbs I installed are well worth the $60 I paid for them. Nice and bright and they probably 3700K colour temp. Better looking then a stock halogen bulb that’s for sure
