Seems even more like the current Tacoma, I thought they looked the same when the 3rd gen tundra came out but it really just looks like a bigger taco

Wonder what all is involved here. Can't imagine it's just a simple bumper cover swap.

 

They said on their Instagram story that it was a pretty simple swap. It seems like way less parts than the Tundra. They also said they would have a kit available in a few weeks. I messaged them with a few questions. We'll see what they say.

That is pretty nice looking. I am planning a de-chrome at some point ... so this may be an option. Pinged them for more info. It looks pretty darn good.

 

Maybe it's just the picture but it looks off to me somehow.

watch the story on instagram. You get a much better view and commentary. It looks real clean IMO.

 

It does look off the more you stare at it. I think it's just because we all know how the Tundras look. They said it's missing the bottom portion of the bumper that hold the fog lights. That might make it look more complete.

 

This looks really good. It does look like a big taco but in a positive way. I would definitely do this if I had a 3rd gen.

 

The more I look, the more I think the mustache being colour matched makes it look like the headlights are too far back.

 

Night and day difference! Those folks are going to be needing a bigger wallet really quick if they can produce quantity.

They are referring to the silver around the outside as the mustache...


Your trim level and the PROs don't have it; your's is black (which is better than silver) and I believe the PROs and hybrids are color matched. So, they look better but the OPs post w/some separation between the grill and bumper definitely looks less 'stache or big mouth bassy

 

I was implying that if they can meet the demand....
