I’m on a 15year loan, only have about 9 years left, right when my oldest is about driving age. Doesn’t leave a lot for extra fun funds, but it will be worth it in the end

My challenge will be keeping my “wants” in Tundra mods from becoming my “needs”. So easy to fall into the big hole. This morning I was looking and needing AlphaRex tail lights and then it turned into a need for Morimoto lights. Nope…..can’t do it

Exactly the plan. Have some credit cards with some ridiculous interest rates, consolidating and knocking out the biggest ones now. We also hit our principle payments as well, the mortgage dropped quickly then.

Goalkeeping and self control. Mods only after self-imposed milestones are met. You can do it. The remaining debt will be paid off pretty quickly if you can dump your mortgage on it every month.

Yeah - we refinanced to a 15 when interest rates were crazy low - same payment but shaved 5 years off our total payoff (including time on the original mortgage). Then started making extra payments immediately.

I have a decent rate, actually pretty good I think, but they payments are probably double what they would be, so throwing extra towards principal isn’t to advantageous for us right now. The last two or three years the payment has gone up due to escrow fees and what not, finally got a break this year with 150$ less payment. Hopefully it keeps dropping and then I’ll probably just keep paying the same but extra towards principle.

We had a project manager who was on top of her shit, other project managers would come to the site without anything and ask to borrow a tape, hahahah full grown dudes walking around with a pink tape was the best! She even got the owner once, but I think her preparedness pissed him off more than the pink tools

What up crew!!! Hopefully everyone is doing good. We have had the Rona in our home for the last week and it’s been super fun. I’ve been fortunate not to have caught it (or not know) but the little one and momma have been going through it which has its challenges.

Wife and I had it over Christmas weekend. Same deal, somehow managed to avoid it these pasts few years. Which I thought was a miracle, with her being around it all the damn time being a nurse
