New to the Site

Hello all,

I'll start with I'm Canadian, my Father passed away in April of 2020 and after a long expensive court battle with my sister, (which is ongoing) the courts forced her to transfer ownership of my father's Truck to me. It's been sitting for almost 3 years and has been towed to the Toyota Dealership to have them go over it with a fine tooth comb, but it's my first truck, and I'm looking for information on different things that I can do to it, to make it my own. It's a 2014 Toyota Tundra TRD SR5 4WD.

I was planning on a small lift - 3"-4" and of course rims and tires. If anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. A friend said that BDS lift kits were better than the rest but I thought I'd get a second opinion or is it all down to preference?

I'm looking forward to making this truck my own, I got a call from the dealership and its going to cost me just under $2k to get it back on the road but every penny is worth it.

It's nice to see that the truck is staying in the family. Sorry about your loss which is more important by far. As far as suspension, there are many options depending on how you want to use the truck. I am not familiar with the costs or who ships to Canada, but Toytec is a popular option in the forum as well. For tires, the top 3 are Falken Wildpeaks, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and the Toyo Open Country AT3's.
