Other than Limited, which Tundras have the mustache?

Grill surround is grey. Window trim and handles are chrome, on mine, at least.

Looking forward to color matching everything..

 

I believe it's referred to as brushed. But I've not seen one in person.

To OP the TRD OR overides and has chrome, bumpers too.

 

brushed or brushed nickel as some call it, it's called Satin Chrome by Toyota.

 

Why they still putting chrome. Should be body color or matte black everywhere. Not even going to mention digicamo fenders...

 

100% agree. I went with the TRD Sport because I didn’t want chrome.
I sort of wish I waited until 2023 to get the SX trim as it would save a ton over TRD Sport, but I really wanted Lunar Rock anyway..

 

Same, I had reserved a white SX. Then a lunar rock trd sport became available, loved the color.

 

We're about a month or so out from releasing the mustache and it should be a more affordable option than some of the other companies out there.

I love Lunar Rock, too, and one just came available here and I am picking it up today. SR5 OR premium and advance teah trim so I get the chrome stache, which I hate. I would have held out for a Sport to get the full color match but these days Toyota doesn't include the Bilsteins with that package. Back in the day, IIRC, they had Bilsteins in Sport Trims for Tundras and Tacomas. My 2009 Tacoma Sport has them and at 137k miles they still ride great. I am not sure if I'll wrap the 'stache or if it will get less annoying once I have seen it for awhile. But, really, Toyota, why chrome. I hate chrome.

There are not many more details to give. We're making these ourselves and we make the tools to make the BumperShellz in-house as well. So it's just taking time.
We'll have them in our stock colors: Gloss Black, Matte Black, Textured TPO, Super White II (Now known as Ice Cap), Attitude/Midnight Black Metallic.
We also buy plenty of Army Green paint (thanks to our other Army Green Painted Tundra and Tacoma products), so that's on the table too!
Additionally, we're happy to paint a specific OEM color. We'd need to price it out and get you a quote since we likely wouldn't be going in bulk until we get more requests.

I would take off the silver sky metallic and replace with celestial silver. 22's and up silver is different.

 

Good catch, thanks! We haven't finalized all the colors, I just knew we had the material in stock for Silver Sky. I'm sure we'll be able to get 1J9 paint, though for those wanting Celestial Silver

100%! We can get that material pretty easily. They will be available for purchase at launch!

I'll talk to my paint guy and bring up paint in the next meeting, likely on Monday morning, but I don't see an issue with that either unless the paint turns out to be CRAZY expensive.

Sounds good. I want to give them a try. I think is the perfect plan for me being I'm on the fence whether I like the brushed chrome look or painted. If I don't like it I can pull it off being it's only tape or leave it, and I won't have to pull the front apart to replace with a painted surround.
