Anyone else get parked after 60-80mph 30 minute trip and smell like your truck is on fire? It only happens when driving in wet/snowy conditions, but scares the hell out of me.

Curious if anyone has experienced this. I’m taking it in next week to address all recalls, but it smells like the EBrake came on while driving, but no brake light on the dash.

Yes I noticed this the other day also, driving on icy roads in and out of four wheel drive, defiantly smelled hot at the gas station. But couldn't tell where it was coming from, definitely wasn't the brakes, was still getting 18mpg and traction control never kicked in.

Same here, but for me I was going up a muddy driveway, something I thought should be no problem. Very alarming burning rubber smell after, but the Trac Control was engaging and also cutting power. Weird feeling, I didn’t like it one bit as I had no feel at all as to what the rear wheels were doing.

Maybe someone more familiar can educate us on what’s going on. In the meantime I guess it’s 4wd Amy time things are slightly slick?

I guess I’m a little happy if it’s not brakes, but damn. I will have a conversation with our dealer next week and hopefully get some answers.

Anyone have an idea who the OEM brake pad provider is now?
I don’t have a 2022 but a 2014 and I switched to Brembo rotors and pads this summer and after making the switch I have the exact same smell in the conditions you do but also after heavy stop and go traffic.
I have looked everything over multiple times, the wheels aren’t hot to the touch like the brakes are sticking, the pads are wearing properly and evenly, they are quiet as can be, no heavy dusting, and the brakes work great.

They are genuine Brembo as I ordered them directly from Brembo.
