My truck finally came and I am trying to set up the connect app. I have the app downloaded and signed in. When i try to add VIN it says I have to scan the QR code but I cannot get the radio to show me a QR code. In settings, it says vehicle not capable when I am trying to set it up. Anyone have info on how to get it set up?

My 21 had a QR code sticker attached to the radio. Maybe the dealer yanked yours and put it in with your paperwork.

I never found the QR code after an hour and a half of fiddling with it. I ended up uninstalling the app, and doing a factory reset on the infotainment screen once or twice before it finally let me connect correctly. Everything works fine now, but it was an absolute pain to setup initially.

Only the primary driver gets the QR code and signs in to the app. Then they invite other drivers.

I get the code. When I scan it I get a message that says invalid code. I have reset to factory settings, deleted and reinstalled app, and same thing over and over. It provides a number to call so when I have time to sit in the truck and call I will try that.

Called Toyota and they had to delete my account and have me sign up again. Resolved the problem.

How does the primary driver invite others so they can add it to an existing Toyota app?
