I was lucky to find and buy a new 2022 Tundra off the lot (the original buyer's wife said, "no!"). I love it, but it has an 8" infotainment screen. Aside from the navigation sucking, I can't easily play music from the dash USB port. The system recognizes the USB drive I plug in, but to play the MP3s, I have to navigate the Source menu manually, and then it plays songs in order unless I manually select an artist or album.

I had a 2018 Tacoma, and the Entune was soooo much better.

XM radio plays the same songs over and over, and I have an Amazon Music account, but it won't default to it unless I pay ATT for Wi-Fi (I already have ATT for my cell service and have a hard time paying them twice for the same service).

Is there a way I can default to, or easily use, the dash USB port to play the MP3s on it? I have even been considering buying an aftermarket replacement.

Don't you want to go over to the Tacoma site??? This is a Tundra site. Or is there more to it?

Are you using Carplay or Android Auto? If not, you should definitely give whichever you have a try. Pretty much any streaming service (Spotify, Amazon Music etc) or MP3 player (such as musicolet) will be easily accessible from either one of those interfaces.

With everything blacked out, that chrome grill really sticks out

He means the grille surround is chrome. It stands out since it's the only chrome thing on the front of your (awesome looking) truck.

Are those the Rough Country flares…wanted to see them on a live truck (not the promo pic on their site).
You gonna need to upgrade those wheels fast my man…unless this is the look you are going for???

to your question…I just use my phone apps via CarPlay (Amazon, IHeart, etc) and call it a day.

I don't believe I've ever heard anyone say entune is better than the current. I hated entune on the previous gen. Good on you though if you liked it.

    Entune 2 > Entune 3.

    Terrible step backward.
