It’s just the angle of the photo. When I look at it from the direct front or side, I don’t like the size of the tires and wish they were bigger. I also have an icon 1.5 AAL in the rear and a 0.5” CB coilover shim in the front, on top of the Fox TRD Pro suspension, giving me an overall lift from stock of 2.75” in the front, and 1.5” in the rear. That adds to the overall beefiness appearance on the DC.

Knowing is half the battle. When it seemed not to be working, I was worried there was more to it. Now I'll go at it knowing what to do. Thanks!

I considered that as a last resort. I really want to get paint around the edges though. That and it needs a clean. The previous owner spilled soy sauce through every crevice of the centre console. :hungry:

That's very helpful, thanks! Maybe I'll actually get them painted this week.

Fwiw, I used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the plastic welds. I just pinched the weld and twisted it and they all popped off easy.

Does the turn signal still stand out good when the brake lights are on? Ive see some vehicles that the turn signals are hard to see because the brake lights are so bright.

Have you had any issues with the AJT TSS bracket? They have a new version but I haven't seen anyone using it yet.

Finished buttoning things up then pulled all the line back in under tension.

Also ran into a slight snag with my license plate mount not clearing the flatlink. For now, I'll just hook the link up to a clevis.

Work is slow so I went out to the parking lot and installed VLEDs across all the interior lights, third brake lights, and license plate lights.

I have the floor light kit for front and rear, but will hold off until I figure out if I am self installing my Katzkin or taking it to a shop.

I already have the OEM LED headlight set and Hot Tails

Are they strict about it? It was just passed last year I believe in Ohio where a plate is not required. Haven't had one on in the past 5 years without anything said.

I bought out my truck in October and just got the plates finally two weeks ago. Didn't even give me a second plate. I was actually shocked by that.

I had similar problems when installing my AMP Powersteps a little less than a year ago. I tested everything, focusing mostly on the connections with the wire taps and the wires in the footwells. It turned out that wasn't the issue.

What I was told to do and that worked was to put extra emphasis on pushing the wires that go into the connector in the engine bay compartment and firmly press those wires down into the wire connector. I'm not talking about making sure the two plastic connectors are connected securely (although that helps) but making sure the string of wires going into thew wire connector are firmly pressed into that connector. That did the trick for me.

It’s city to city. Some cities will never say anything. Some will literally cross 7 lanes of traffic, chase you 4 blocks to catch up with you, and ticket you for it.

I just double side tape it to the front, take a picture and pay the $16 admin fee. But it wastes time…

they like them (from what I heard) because it makes their computer license reader things pick you up no matter which way you’re facing.

I had the same problem on the bumper I just installed. I cut some strips out of some scrap and spaced the flip bracket forward. I can take some pictures later if you are interested.

Maybe fab a new license plate bracket that has slightly longer arms? That way it puts the plate in front of the flatlink

Found this. Seems my lower plastic guard under my windshield is permanently bent.

Pouring salt into this wound, I opened my hood with the wiper up and scratched the paint a little.:annoyed:

Now to go see how insane this OEM part is priced. (Update - $465.00)
