I know this is a running issue for many. I ended up sealing my back slider due to the issue with auto silicone. Unfortunately I had another small leak appear and found that these vents (?) had water residue around the edges attributing to the water accumulation along the corners of the cab. Instead of doing the unthinkable and removing the cab to seal the outside I used some auto sealant and liberally covered the edges.

I'm hoping this fixes the issue and helps someone in the future with the issue.

Did the silicone around these vents hold up? Are you still without leaks? I popped my bed off the replace the vents and now the new ones are leaking! Wondering if I should just silicone the inside like you did.

Yes, this solved my issue. I’ve not had any water leak issues since 2023.
