So I had seen several different wireless charges for my 18 Tundra. I finally settled on one and thought I would share my experience with installation and looks.

I got it off Amazon for $95. It replaces the phone size holder on the center console lid. It came with an adapter to tie in the power to the cigarette lighter plug which is on the back of the center console. It was a an extremely easy install. It came with a tool to help pop the clips on the back side of the console, and zip ties to hold the cable to the lid arm so it didn't get smashed. After installing it it looks extremely clean and stock. I uploaded a couple of pictures from what it looks like after

6 in lift kit on a 2wd. Done by previous owner. Don't blame me.

Do you have any issues with charging with a phone case on? I just don't want to pay for a product that wont even charge my phone because of a phone case interference.

I bought a similar one for my truck a year or two ago.

It's hit-or-miss when charging. Only about 25% of the time it'll charge properly (as in it'll charge my phone to completion with no issues). It'll always start charging as soon as I set my phone in the tray, but stop charging after about 5 seconds. I've tried both my phone (Samsung Galaxy) and my wife's iPhone, both with and without cases. No difference.

I thought it was a defective unit, so I got a second one and installed it. Exact same problem.

Might look to buy a different model another day, but for now I'm just settling with a crappy charger that'll occasionally work.
