Car. I Even live out in the country where we don't get the roads plowed right away. I have had awesome luck with Firestone winter force tires. Works pretty nice when it has triptronic transmission so it's almost like driving it as a standard.

People always make fun of me for not driving my four-wheel drives in the snow. My square body Chevy hasn't been in the snow since 1995 when I graduated high school. After that it got all new sheet metal and completely redone. So once that happened it's never been in the salt since. Hell I've hardly even drove it in the rain.

No kidding? FWD would help in my situation.

I’ll snap a pic of my truck/trailer when I take my kid to school this morning. My driveway is 7*…so it can get sporty in the snow.

These pictures kind of show how much the truck is leaning. You can see the ass end of the truck slid out a bit. Oops.

The Golf does pretty well in deeper snow IF I don't have to backup to get a running start too many times. The plastic "skid plate" just scoops up all the snow like a shovel while in reverse until eventually I high center.

I need to get Michelins for the wife's Corolla soon. I'm sick of sliding around on the cheap Goodyears she has on it now.

Well your driveway is like a launch pad. My car probably wouldn’t get up that bad boy in dry conditions. :burnrubber:

This is true.. I generally start down by the garage where it's flat and take off. It's right at that top that sometimes gives me trouble. Maybe one day I'll change it up and have a longer sloping driveway instead of a boat ramp
