Hello there, hoping someone can help. The map screen on our 2012 Toyota sequoia is saying “map trying to load” or “insert map dvd”. It goes blank and no radio and no Bluetooth. Took it to our local Toyota dealer and they told me that I need a new system which will cost me $8000!!!
We tried taking out battery and nothing, replaced fuses and nothing. Any other suggestions?

    Welcome from NY.

Go to www.crutchfield.com and put in your vehicle information and you can get a plug and play radio with navigation for a few hundred bucks. They will send you all the information need to do it yourself.

Did you check to see if there was a map DVD in there?

Yes we do but wondering if we need to replace it? Maybe it’s too old? We ordered a new one so hopefully that will do the trick.
