After going through a fairly large puddle of water, I got water in my engine, which caused a misfire. The misfire went away after I stopped and restarted the engine. Now, when in 6th gear with the torque converter locked at around 1500rpm or less, my whole truck driveline slams. It’s so hard that all my interior creaks. Mass air flow sensor? Torque converter? Water on tcm? Carrier bearing? Tranny itself? No misfire codes by the way. It happens far less when cruising at 70 in 5th gear, so more rpm equals smoother running. Makes me sick just thinking what it could be, hopefully not a tranny or torque converter issue:(

I would get some transmission fluid and do a drain and fill to see if water got into the transmission. At least that’s where I’d start

It would be very wise to change gear oil in the diffs too if it was a lot of water. They love to take in water unless you’ve done diff breather relocation

Thought about this. Definitely a good start
