Vantrue brand if I remember right. It was a chrismas present 2 years ago. It's on my list but I haven't done a single thing and try and fix it yet. The only reason the truck got the dash cam was because of our trip last year.

A front bumper and a winch cross my mind from time to time but I just gotta resist the urge.

Getting married this year and have a couple house projects to do so the money will go to use one way or the other.

Picked the '02 for date night tonight. Wife sneered a bit, she has to step up even though she's 5'10". Even used the grab handle and sliders to get in.

I like it for nights b/c the v8 warms up quick and the RC has a small space to heat. Also bench seat, but that's better for gf's and wives.

She picks pho b/c she's feeling lousy (sigh)
The nav to the pho spot requires a U on a 4 lane (2 each way) and I don't make it. Probably shoulda swung wide and run the yellow but I waited and took it tight. Had to reverse a bit. Mild bummer there.

Owner of the restaurant has a 2019 Tacoma sport and gave 0 f's about anyone in the restaurant. Cool dude. I told him he needs to upgrade his headlights. Hah. That guy made a few $'s off my food but he lost a bunch now that he knows his LED bulbs in halogen projectors are inferior.

Oh how I do love my '02, she is just fine.

The great thing about inefficient V8 engines is that they give off a lot of heat quickly to warm up in the winter.

For us, it's socks. No chewing. Just carries them around the house with her when we're gone. I think it's more about being near our smells.

If you can look at it and gimme the model# I can hook you up with the stuff you need. I think a lot of their model numbers are letter-number, like V1 or S2 or whatever.

Dude, pho is the best. Gimme pho dac biet all day long, I need some tripe in my life.

Might move the ground, but the existing grounds are painted under, and the fuse block bolt washer sandwiches with metal bushing.

Dropped the sliders off to be powder coated today. Trying to fix my back topper window from popping open. These mending plates are my best idea until I come up with another idea.

So, this just happened at the parking garage at work. Co-worker saw them jump out from underneath the Sequoia and jump in a non licensed car. Got pictures and all, but won't help.

I reached out to The Seat Shop again today for my yearly check-in, asking when they'll have OEM-authentic replacement leather seat covers for our trucks.

In 2019/2020, I was told 'not in the plans'.
In 2021, I was told, 'yep, got it in the hopper, expect news by late 2021 or early 2022'.
In early 2022, I was told, 'nope, not working on that model, so sorry!'
Curious to see what I hear for 2023.

For what it's worth, I've gotten a different person each time I've emailed. Heather the 1st time, Angel the next, and Kaylen last year.

Depending what they come back with, I think I may just bite the damn bullet and buy new OEM upper, lower, and armrest for my truck.

I need to get the model and maybe just do some googling. I'm sure it's easy to mess with. Just been busy.

Are your seats really that bad with such low mileage? What's wrong with Katskinz or similar?

    20230104_153742.jpg
Hauled some wheels and tires today. Something eating the inside edge of one of my front tires on my Lexus. Time for an allignment. Didn't feel like spending $1000 on tires so decided to check marketplace and what do ya know a set of 50% tread coopers popped up for $25. Gonna rock them for a year or so just to feel like I'm saving money or something. Also had a new trailer tire I needed mounted to replace my 18 year old tire.

Hankooks that came on the 2019 Avalon wheels only lasted 30k and were brand new when put on. Doesn't seem like long enough but it is what it is I guess.

After I change rear lug studs my Factory Lexus wheels need to get put on the shitbox Camry as it's tires are starting to rot. I'm glad my grandparents have room in their barn for me to stash wheels. Why do I have so many?

I did this...... Well, it's kind of a mix of this with a tube bumper. It's just a matter of ditching the strip between bumper and grill, and raising the bumper skin up to fill the void. Remounting it is tricky. I thru-bolted it to the fenders and the small strip of body that houses the hood latch, if that makes sense.
