I got a salt block for Christmas. Just did it's first cook on my GMG.

Potatoes were a little dry, chicken turned out good. Mostly I was guessing on cook time.

If anyone has any recipes or tips feel free to throw them out.

I have had one for a few years. I haven’t used it in forever. I usually did slice up some NY steaks into like 1/4” thick strips and cook it that way. I don’t remember what else I have done. If I recall correctly, it took forever to get it hot enough(heating in steps as to not crack it) to sear anything on it. So I usually don’t use it.

I’ll see what others are doing with it though.
