Has anyone put clear tint on their windshield. And if so does it affect any sensors?

Yes. Lots and lots of people have done this. I have 70% on mine. No issues with any sensors. Some have reported that after the windshield tint their truck was throwing error codes for various things, but I had 0 issues.

50% on the front and 15% total on sides/rear/sunroof (ceramic) with no issues as well, but it's only been a week.

70 or 80 on mine. It doesn't interfere with and sensors or cameras because it's cut around the rear view mirror and camera spot. Tint doesn't stick to the black around the mirror that good.

Who's getting error codes? The tint on the windshield should go around the sensor/camera box thing. It doesn't cover it . . .

The issue I saw reported wasn’t for codes because of the tint itself. Because the tint application process requires liquid, apparently the liquid was getting down in the dash and causing electrical issues. Seemed like a fairly isolated set of reports of this happening. I don’t know how much liquid you would have to use in the application process to cause the truck to throw codes, but that was the best guess.

Ahh, the soapy water solution was getting into and down the firewall area. Gotcha

Yeah, tinting does require quite a bit of liquid solution for lubrication, etc

A soakrope like this one pretty much fully eliminates that issue. I'm aware some tinters don't use it at all and basically just say "it's negligible" and hope nothing happens...

That is great - I am guessing those with issues may not have had something like this used. Thankfully I didn’t have any issues at all with mine.
