    Hi, looking at a 2009 tundra, 155k, 5.7L, from wisconsin. asking 14.5k.

Would this amount of rust be of concern for it lasting 8 years? looking at the bed and the rear drive axle/leaf spring photos mainly.

thank you for advice, I just don't know how much is too much.

Also overall if i should spend the extra 5k and get a 2013 or newer. thank you!

That is not bad at all for that year considering Wisconsin is a rust belt state, my 2013 has way more rust on the diff than that truck.
I would be much more concered if the frame itself was severly rusted.

I’d buy it. Would help to apply Corroseal to stop the progression and then Fluid Film annually. Check for rust underneath the bed, too-it’s worse under there.

That's what I hear/read is if it's rust spotting like that in the bed, is that it is eating upward.
I'm hoping I can get it for 12.75k but we'll see. Again my hopes being it would last 6-8 years for my family for winter driving, some hobby farming needs.
