I have had my 2023 1794 with the off road package for 2 weeks and took it on its first hunting trip that included 400 miles of highway, up to 16" of wet snow, icy roads.
    1. Seat belt alarm is LOUD! Man I wish I could turn that off! I don't need a seat belt driving in a corn field or parking away from the blind. I just ordered the tikit.com defeats.
    2. Auto dim high beams don't work well in the real world. It dims when reflecting off road signs, it dimmed twice when a truck passed me on the interstate. Probably won't use it much.
    3. My 2" hitch doesn't go into the receiver far enough? It appears to be hitting on a weld or ridge about 1" short of getting the hitch pin in. I need to file something down it appears.
    4. Actual calculated 18 mpg on first tank and 16.3 on the second tank (non hybrid). 600 miles on the truck.
    5. All of electronic BS was mostly self intuitive even for this old guy.
    6. Love the lane assist feature
    7. It did well in the deep wet snow, however, wheels packed with snow caused drastic vibration on the highway, had to pull over and clean out wheels. I didn't realize the rear locker only works in 4 low? I didn't see that in the owner's manual.
    8. How can I turn off the bed lights if I want to leave the tailgate open?
Overall I love truck, quiet, drives great, etc. Seats are OK for comfort, not like a GM for sure!

Seat belt alarm / get the CARISTA mobile app 7 day? trial with a obd reader, can turn off the alarm and then cancel Carista before you have to pay

Congrats on the truck. Man, my experience with auto high beams is very different from yours. I keep finding myself thinking, “there’s no way it’s going to recognize those taillights…or headlights…or car coming in at an angle…etc. It pretty much always does. Pretty impressive, IMO.

Congrats on the truck jcneng. Oh, we have EXACTLY that truck, in CS color, Crew Max, 5.5 bed, had it for 16 days now, 250 miles only. Loving it so far but haven't put it through much snow or even a road trip. Truck shows 14.3mpg so far but haven't even burned through the first tank and ALL driving is local, not even been over 60mph yet. Planning a road trip soon.

How do you find it wind noise wise? It seems that it takes a good push to close the doors, I'm thinking Toyota fixed the wind noise problem with beefier door seals and that takes a good push to latch the door. Interesting input on the 2" hitch, please let me know what you find on that. I'll take a look at ours tomorrow.

Cab noise is very quiet, impressive. Better than my 07 and much better than our 2011 MDX

Hitch: It was just tight, I used a big hammer and got it in and out and after 6 or 8 times of that it has loosened up.

The auto dim was probably having issues with snow and ice on the road and highway signs. I will try it again on dry roads.
