Do you have any back story to it? Was it totally fine and you parked it one night and came back the next morning and turned the key and the starter wouldn't turn off? Did the starter randomly turn on while driving and not turn off? Was the truck in a flood? What was the sequence of events leading to this?

I parked at a job left the truck for about an hour ,then tried to start it but it wouldn't turn over like it was a dead battery .got a jump , it started up fine drove it 500ft turned it off and then it tried to start and was make a crazy noise in the starter so I disconnected the battery before it melted the terminal off

Never heard of a battery terminal melting to the battery post (if that is what you're saying). There wouldn't be any reason a terminal would melt to the battery unless you short both terminals together. Also, are you saying it tried starting on its own without you turning the key or you cranked it, but heard the starter making a crazy noise?

I've got so many questions... Is it an aftemarket remote start?? or something similar?? like a push start?? I don't think the 07s came with push start, but I may be wrong. Any chance the wiring is starting to fail and continuously engaging the starter, overloading circuits?? I've seen a melted ground wire, but it was on a Silverado after it got hit with a lightning strike, in Florida...
