    2004 tundra 4 door
Hi everyone. Thanks for the add. I'm about to purchase a beater Tundra from the original owner.
Its an '04, 4 door, slightly lifted, mileage unknown.
Owner says it has a shake that new wheels and tires didn't fix.
He says the brakes are weak, mechanic made a couple attempts to fix them and he says they are scary.
Engine started dying on him while driving. He says it starts back up.
Engine has 11 diagnostic codes to sort out.
The owner got fed up and bought a new tundra. The 04 has been parked for a year or so. He also says there isn't a mountain in Nevada that this truck hasn't been to the top of. So it's earned it's manzanita pinstripes and constant wobble that I believe is a tweaked axle shaft.
I work for the shop that was doing the work on the truck. None of the techs that worked on the truck are around anymore, but I have seen some corners cut so I think I have a chance of fixing and driving this $400 truck.

I'm sure I'll come up with a lot of dumb questions to ask and I'll share any knowledge I gain along the way.
